Module 1: Problem / Project Identification

Course Description
Project cycle management is the discipline of identifying problem/project, planning, executing, monitoring and evaluating in order to ensure that the project operation achieves specific goals at the specified time and resources. Module 1 of Project Management presents an introductory overview of project cycle management, its principles and approaches, varieties of tools and techniques to analyze the situation and identify problem/project. It also provides guidelines and tools for the next steps of the operation.

Objective
1) Participants learn about a variety of tools and techniques used in identifying a problem/project.
2) Participants gain in-depth understanding about how to use such tools and techniques in their projects through discussion, Q&A, reflection and group work.

Course Description

Module 2 of Project Management presents an introductory overview of project cycle management, project planning, tools and techniques in project planning and proposal drafting in carrying out a project.

1) Participants learn how to use a range of tools, techniques and planning approaches in project formulation and preparation.
2) Participants gain in-depth knowledge in how to apply such tools, techniques and planning approaches in their projects through discussion, Q&A, learning reflection and group work.

Module 3: Project Implementation

Course Description
Project cycle management is the discipline of identifying problem/project, planning, executing, monitoring and evaluating in order to ensure that the project operation achieves specific goals at the specified time and resources. Module 3 of Project Management presents an introductory overview of project cycle management related to project mobilization, human resource management, financial management as well as material & equipment management.

Objective
1) To improve skills and overall understanding of an efficient project implementation
2) To strengthen their capacity on key components and processes in conducting an effective project implementation.
