On May 3-4, 2017 USAID-funded Civil Society Partnerships Project (CSPP) under Khon Kaen University's Center for Civil Society and Nonprofit Management (CSNM) conducted workshop on Project Management toward Social Enterprise at NET Foundation, Surin Province. There were 35 representatives of 18 civil society organizations core partners as grantees attended the workshop. This event aims to address difficulties while the grantees are running project. Moreover, it is to review concept of social enterprise, fund-raising, supplementary incomes and private company as well as to exercise on goal setting, cost and benefit analysis, and social business model canvas designs. Practically, participants encouraged to share and learn differently from other granted projects. Participatory approach was used from experiences of each individual. Best practices were being scrutinized reflected by expertise facilitators. Finally, adaptive social enterprise model is alternative and innovative method for both civil society organization in terms of self-reliance and sustainable organization development in the future.
