Ms. Darunee Bootors is a Thai citizen. She has been working for CSNM as Capacity Building Officer since December 2016. She has experience working in various fields. She has almost two-year experience in project coordination and implementation as a field coordinator of the Promoting Renewable Energy Project under the Thailand Environment Institute Foundation (TEI) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Thailand. She has more than two-year experience as a social research assistant of the Well-being in Developing Countries (WeD) project (a joint research project between University of Bath, England and Khon Kaen University), and a project on a Forty Years Fixed Point Observation at the Northeast Thai village (a joint research project Kyoto University, Japan and Khon Kaen University). Also, she has 4-year experience of wildlife research assistant under a Research Group on Integrative Primate Socio-Ecology under Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig, Germany.

Academically, she holds master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from, Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Hawaii, United States, and a bachelor’s degree in Social Development Management from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University, Thailand.
